What is the Master Cleanse Diet?

I have heard of people who simply leave out the Cayenne Pepper. PLEASE do NOT leave out the Cayenne Pepper; it plays a very specific role within The Master Cleanse scheme of things. It's main function is to actually help with the removal of bodily waste. You might as well then just grab some plain lemonade from the girls scouts stand at the corner market on a Sunday morning. This would void any chance of The Master Cleanse working for you.

You will still lose weight, but you won't be able to detoxify efficiently. In the event that you cannot stomach pure cayenne pepper, what you can do is substitute the raw cayenne pepper with cayenne capsules. Cayenne capsules can easily be found in alternative health stores across the United States and online.

You will need, at the very least, 400 milligrams per serving of lemonade. So, if one capsule contains 100 milligrams of cayenne pepper, you will need to add four capsules every time you drink lemonade.

Just know that this might be a bit of an expensive way of getting your Cayenne Pepper in. Try to tolerate the taste of the Cayenne Pepper, and you will be off to a good start.

But then again, to each his own; some supporters of the Master Cleanse diet really don't like the idea of spiking their lemonade with cayenne, so they invest in large quantities of cayenne capsules to get the most out of this detox diet. For diabetics, sweeteners with higher concentrations of sugar are recommended.
